Experience in Excellence
RAY BEAUREGARD JR
After graduating high school in 1987, Ray was tired of the classroom and decided to pass on the opportunity to get a degree. Instead, he decided to go learn a trade. With a primary focus on turning and CNC lathes, Ray became quite comfortable on a variety of machines and controls and was the Setup & On-floor Programmer in a very short time. While working for a smaller contract manufacturer, finding himself at a ‘career plateau’ on the shop floor, Ray had the opportunity to step across to the machine tool distribution world. And that is where it really all began.
Ray entered the machine tool distribution world in 1994 as an entry level service engineer. He worked his way through the company as a product specialist, then into Operations, and then became General Manager 10 years after he started with the company. It was here that he realized the old guard was gone and the machine tool distribution business was changing. This is when in 2005, with a small family and a big mortgage, Ray walked away from it all to start his own business with the belief and confidence that it was the right decision.
As a believer and follower in Jesus Christ, and making him the CEO of his life, which in turn makes him the CEO of CNC PROS, Ray continues daily to try and be a better son, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and leader to everyone he connects with.
Mark 8:38 | “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
Cornel moved to United States from Romania in 1996 without speaking any English. While finishing his last year in high school, Cornel started working for a machine shop in the evenings part-time. He worked in a fuel nozzle cell with the objective of becoming a machinist. After he graduated high school, the opportunity presented itself and he took that position, operating Horizontal and Vertical machining centers with various CNC Controls.
While working as a machinist, Cornel soon realized that his true passion was to know how these CNC machines function, and how to repair them when they break. So, in July 2000 Cornel pursued that career path. He got the opportunity to work for a local dealer as an entry level service engineer. He embraced the opportunity to work on machines and was hungry to learn and pursue more difficult repairs/installations /spindle replacements etc.
Cornel met a lot of great technicians in this role, so, he said to himself…“If one man can learn this, so can another man”
Philippians 4:13 | “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
After seeing management change a few times and the focus on service diminished, Cornel made the decision to resign his position and pursue the entrepreneurship path.
Cornel feels so blessed to have come to this country and enjoyed these great experiences and opportunities. He gives all the glory to God who has blessed him with more than he deserves.
1 CHRONICLES 29:13 | “Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.”

Application Engineer Manager
Brian is the exception rather than the rule and is not your typical machine tool dealer Engineering Manager. Where most will tell you what you want to hear, Brian tells you what you need to hear. Keri started in the precision machining industry in 2015 because she thought a career in herding cats would be fun. On a more serious note, Keri keeps the “machine on the track”. As one could imagine, scheduling and managing several hundred PMs a year, receiving multiple phone calls, emails, and texts, coming in at all hours of the day and night, Keri has her hands full. She also tries to keep Ray and Cornel in line…mostly Ray!
Keri does a wonderful job and helps keep the CNC PROS team functioning and taking care of our customers.
